aria rose

many of you have been photographed with aria by my side, some of you have been photographed by aria as she grew and found a love for the camera herself. many of you have never met aria, but know her story as members of our community.

in july of 2024 while preparing for a wedding the following day i got the call that there had been a car accident just 27 minutes down the road after she left home. that night, my life forever changed, hers was stolen, her sisters & brother lost their sibling, and her brother who was also in the car with her, was left disabled.

her brother remains at home with me full time, which only allows me to return to my career on a very part-time basis but i wanted to find a way to give back to those who have supported us every step of the way through our healing journey.

aria was full of so much love - a big personality, with an even bigger heart. she loved tagging along for shoots, helping plan them, directing posing, sometimes she would even take children aside for their own shots while i photographed parents. she really became an intrinsic part of my work, which allowed me to be the mother i was to her, while welcoming her into the creative process i thrived on as an individual.

in the eight years aria was alive, i never once had family photos done. i never had a maternity session with her, newborn photos, milestone memories, and not. one. single. photo. of me and my four children professionally done before she was taken from us. to this day, that thought breaks me. everything i had went back into my family, and i never expended the money to practice what i preached to my clients day in and day out - to make sure they found a way to be in the photos.

this is why i started "in loving memory" - because i would love to make sure every parent has lasting memories with their children whether they feel a professional photoshoot is accessible to them.

starting in october 2025 and going forward, we will take nominations into our inbox for a family to receive a photoshoot they may not have otherwise purchased for themselves and every 1st we will pick a family to receive a mini session planned within the next 60 calendar days locally to us that includes all of the digital photos as a download with personal print release, from aria to you.
